How to Measure the Plant of a Digital Power Supply
This download accompanies our video on this subjects. It provides a step-by-step guide on how to calculate the gains on a digital system so that you can measure the plant correctly. It can also be used as a detailed tutorial on how to assess all digital scaling and gains that occurs in a digital voltage mode and a digital current mode power supply.

STEP-BY-STEP DESIGN GUIDE FOR DIGITAL PEAK CURRENT MODE CONTROL: A SINGLE-CHIP SOLUTION
This application note investigates the implementation of peak current mode control with slope compensation using an single TMS320F28027 (Piccolo A) MCU from Texas Instruments. This MCU is ideal for peak current mode implementation due to its dedicated internal circuitry which enables a fully digital slope compensation scheme. The theory of operation, mathematical modeling and all relevant equations are presented along with a detailed step-by-step design procedure in both analog and digital domains.
A design example and associated experimental results are also presented with two methods of implementation; one using TI's ControlSUITE and one using Biricha's Chip Support Library (CSL).

TI UCC3817 PFC DESIGN TOOL
This is a spreadsheet based PFC design tool for the UCC3817 from TI. Macros must be enabled to use this spreadsheet. This spreadsheet contains a simplified version of the Biricha PFC Loop Design (PLD) software. The full PLD software is provided as part of our PFC design workshop. The full PLD software allows the control loops to be automatically designed for both analog and digital PFC implementations.

GENERATING CCS PROJECT FILES USING BIRICHA'S AUTOMATED SCRIPT
This document describes how to create the necessary project files for CCS. The script creates two files: .cproject and .project. These files will contain the correct paths to the relevant controlSUITE header files and (optional) Biricha Chip Support Library (CSL) / Digital Power Library (DPWR) for the device that is being used.
Please see BAN106 for a step-by-step CCS installation guide and how to set up a project manually to use Biricha's CSL and DPWR libraries.
