Analog Power Supply Design Workshop (with Texas Instruments)
This often sold out, hands-on, laboratory based analog power supply design training workshop provides an in-depth look at the design of stable and robust switch mode power supplies.
The workshop begins from first principles and looks at the fundamentals of power supply design for a host of topologies (Forward types, Flyback types DC/DC and PFC Boosts) down to component selection. It covers frequency domain control loop design covering Bode plots and stability. The attendees should leave the workshop feeling conformable with stable compensator design for both voltage mode control and peak current mode control for a host of topologies. Optocoupler isolated power supply design is also discussed in detail. |
Digital Power Supply Design Workshop (with STMicroelectronics STM32)
In this workshop you will learn how to design stable control loops in both voltage mode and current mode as well as digital PFC. You will then design, code, implement and test several digital power supplies, including digital PFCs in our well-equipped laboratory.
All labs and material are based on STM32G474 microcontroller product line addressing digital power conversion applications, but the design practices taught in the class can be applied to any MCU. This is a intensive hands-on workshop and all theoretic material taught in the class are put onto practice with numerous laboratory exercises on real digital power supplies and PFCs. |
Power Supply EMI Filter Design for EMC Compliance (with Wurth Elektronik)
Learn how to design DC/DC and AC/DC EMI filters to pass the EMC test from ground up easily with this in-depth design workshop/seminar. Starting from basic principles taught during the workshop, you will be able to design input and output filters to meet the specifications required to pass the EU’s conducted emission EMC tests in a step-by-step and methodical manner. |
Digital Power Supply Design Workshop (with Texas Instruments)
During this hands-on digital power supply design workshop you can learn how to design stable control loops in both voltage mode and current mode as well as digital PFC. You will then design, code, implement and test several digital power supplies. This workshop also contains bespoke hardware allowing you to safely design, implement and test a real digital PFC example.
The labs make use of several of the C2000 range of MCUs, however the design practices taught in the class can be applied to any MCU. First the engineering concepts, theoretical material and step-by-step design procedures are thought in the class and then these are all put onto practice with numerous laboratory exercises on real digital power supplies. |
