Online Workshops
Switching Power Supply Hardware Design Workshop
Using a systematic and step-by-step approach, we start from the basics and guide you through the complete design of all three major topologies (Buck, Boost and Flyback) power supplies down to the last component.
We cover all design procedures, decision-making processes, compromises, calculations, and how to select suitable components, including the necessary safety margins. By the end of the workshop, you should be able to design complete and fully functioning power supplies, with all component part numbers specified. |
Opto-Isolated Control Loop Design Workshop
In the Opto-Isolated Control Loop Design workshop, participants will learn about designing opto-isolated power supply control loops. Building on the control loop theory taught in the "Power Supply Hardware Design Workshop," this workshop starts with an introduction to opto-isolators, explaining their role in providing isolation between different parts of a power supply circuit. Participants will learn how to choose the right opto-isolator for their applications, ensuring reliable signal transmission across isolated boundaries.

Hands-On Design Example Workshop
Using numerous videos, presentations, and laboratory notes, we build on the material and design examples of our theoretical workshops and guide the participants through an entire design example, component by component. As you complete your design you solder the relevant components on your design example kit until the entire power supply is complete.
This workshop is available for the following topologies:
